Neue Lizenzen und Add-ons für Microsoft 365 Produkte – Juli 2023

Seit Juli stellt Microsoft eine neue Lizenz und optionale Add-ons zur Verfügung. Abhängig zur Lizenz oder dem Add-on kann es entweder direkt im M365 Admin Center bestellt oder bei Microsoft beantragt werden.

Windows 365 Frontline (Lizenz)

Im April vorgestellt werden neue Lizenzen für Windows 365 Frontline bereitgestellt.

Windows 365 Frontline is a version of Windows 365 that helps organizations save costs by providing a single license to provision three Cloud PC virtual machines. For each Windows 365 Frontline license that you buy, you can provision three different Cloud PCs that can’t be used concurrently. Instead, each user receives a unique Cloud PC that they can use when the other two users on the same license aren’t signed into their Cloud PCs.
A Windows 365 Frontline licensed user must be licensed with each of the following: Windows 10/11 Enterprise/Education, Intune, and Azure Active Directory P1/P2. 

Microsoft Entra ID Governance (Add-on)

Bei Microsoft Entra ID Governance handelt es sich um ein Add-on zu den Lizenzen Azure AD Premium P1 und P2. Hat eine Organisation bereits Azure AD P2 gibt es ein kostengünstigeres Step-up Add-on.

In Entra ID Governance bündelt Microsoft folgende Features. In der Dokumentation sind die Features zusammengefasst.

• Privileged Access Lifecycle

Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence API (Add-on)

Im März 2023 vorgestellt ist Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence API ein Add-on für die Lizenz Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence.

The Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence (Defender TI) API for Incidents, Alerts, and Hunting allows organizations to query Defender TI data to operationalize intelligence gleaned from threat actors, tools, and vulnerabilities. Security teams can enrich their understanding of entities inside security incidents, automate triage efforts, and integrate with a broad ecosystem of security tools, including Microsoft Sentinel.

Microsoft Defender Experts for Hunting (Add-on)

Im August 2022 für Organisationen mit einem Enterprise Agreement als optionales Produkt bereitgestellt, soll Microsoft Defender Experts for Hunting nun auch für Organisationen mit einem Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) verfügbar sein.

Microsoft Defender Experts for Hunting was created for customers who have a robust security operations center but want Microsoft to help them proactively hunt threats using Microsoft Defender data. Defender Experts for Hunting is a proactive threat hunting service that goes beyond the endpoint to hunt across endpoints, Office 365, cloud applications, and identity….

Interessierte Organisationen müssen das Add-on weiterhin über einen Antrag bestellen, siehe Dokumentation.

Power Automate Process Mining (Add-on)

Bei Power Automate Process Mining handelt es sich um ein Add-on für die Lizenz Power Automate per user with attended RPA. Laut Lizenzdokumentation kann das Add-on nur über einen manuellen Antrag bestellt werden.

Process mining capability: A Power Automate per-user license with attended RPA enables a user to create a process, connect to an event log using data flows, analyze a process from data, and view the analytics report in the web.

Process mining add-on: A separately purchasable add-on is required to do the following:
– Use of the desktop application, which provides many features to get deep insights into your process
– Customize the analytics report by publishing it into your own Power BI workspace
