Admins can now define up to 100 authoritative SharePoint sites in the Microsoft 365 admin center without PowerShell. Authoritative content is part of Copilot Search.

Domain Exclusion for Web grounding in Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot now supports Domain Exclusion, letting administrators exclude specific domains from web grounding across Copilot and Copilot Chat. The feature is generally available, and the required PowerShell script has been published, along with a guide on configuring exclusions for up to 1,000 domains.
Restricted SharePoint Search will be retired in SharePoint Online
Microsoft is retiring Restricted SharePoint Search (RSS) in SharePoint Online. Organizations should move to Restricted Content Discovery. Organizations using RSS should act, as SharePoint content previously excluded from search can become discoverable once RSS stops enforcing these restrictions.
Integrate posts from WordPress into Microsoft Search results (Preview)
WordPress posts can now be integrated into Microsoft Search results and Copilot in an optimized form. However, I do not recommend using the new connector for security reasons.

Filter search results by “Messages” in the SharePoint Search
SharePoint will soon include a new search vertical for organization-wide searches, similar to the existing Messages search on Microsoft 365. This will enhance the search experience by categorizing results, making it easier to find specific types of content.
