New Microsoft Entra Global Secure Access license combines Private and Internet Access

Microsoft has introduced a new license: Microsoft Entra Global Secure Access
Global Secure Access is Microsoft's Security Service Edge (SSE) solution. It routes network traffic through the Microsoft global network and applies Conditional Access, so users reach their resources securely without a classic VPN.

The new license bundles two services that were previously available as separate licenses:

• Microsoft Entra Private Access gives users access to private apps and resources, on-premises or in the cloud (Zero Trust Network Access).
• Microsoft Entra Internet Access is a secure web gateway that protects access to the internet, SaaS apps, and Microsoft 365.

The license is part of product ID CFQ7TTC0PFZR (Microsoft Entra Global Secure Access Platform) and is available for standard users and Frontline workers.
